Bakemonogatari (化物語, “ghostory,” a portmanteau of bakemono (化物, ghost or monster) and monogatari (物語, story)) is a Japanese light novel series written by Japanese novelist Nishio Isin and illustrated by Taiwanese illustrator Vofan; the series is published by Kodansha under the Kodansha Box imprint. The story centers on Araragi Koyomi 阿良々木暦, a third year high school student who has recently survived a vampire attack, and finds himself mixed up with all kinds of apparitions; gods, ghosts, mythological beasts, and spirits. An anime adaptation by Shaft started airing on July 3, 2009 and went through a total of 15 episodes. The prequel novel, Kizumonogatari was recently announced as being green-lit for anime production. They included the vampire bite marks too :3
And thanks to these shots and those extra parts included, I think I may have to buy Figma Senjougahara Hitagi 戦場ヶ原 ひたぎ after all OTL. I’ve been resisting it and will still try to :-\ She’ll be available earlier in April which is a killer month due to all the boy figures, games and goods being released during the same period.

Oh, I might then, when I finally have some free time to start watching anime again.
I’ve never ordered figures directly from Japan before (the last Nitro+Chiral one coins being my first time) as, in past years, it ended up being almost the same for my wallet as buying from western stores, hence the stupid question. Thanks for the head up though ~
@Oru: Icic… no worries, it’s not a stupid question at all cos you wouldn’t know until you asked :)
Meh, only saw the prototype for the female companion and her other figure that has… flying school material falling from her skirt.
Your posts are very good for the soul but bad for the waller, no doubt, eh. Are you planning on ordering from anywhere in particular (maybe due to freebies, idk XD)?
@Oru: I think her figure is cool too… watch the anime! You’ll appreciate it even more :D
Hmm when it comes to figures, there usually aren’t any freebies OTL so I’ll just compare and see which store has the best deal then get it from there. I think I may want to buy two Araragi :3 figma boys seldom get reissues so better grab them when we can.
Uuuh, I actually like this male figma ( I normally dont even like figmas at all), specially his “not so happy” face.
He is kinda like Kinoshita from Alter to me: I dont know the fandoms but they look so good is hard to resist D:
Aah, you so mean to me, Ponytale *adds to list*
@Oru: The anime is very good too! I’ve been eyeing this figma for a quite some time ever since his prototype came out months ago :D Sharing the love lol~ but I’m mean to your bank account I guess XD
