What can you expect in the first volume of Ai no Kusabi first press limited edition Blu-ray? (Loads of pics follow)
I received this item quite a while back but I’ve procastinated writing this post because… I don’t have a blu-ray player! ^^;; I wanted to do a more detailed review that included the contents of the disc but till now I’ve not bought a player. I also don’t think I’ll buy a player anytime soon. So here it is.

First press limited edition special: Pet ring with leather string ペットリング（革紐付き）and Plate Key holder (Riki) プレートキーホルダー（リキ）Information and warnings. The first line says, “Please use the pet ring as it is meant to be used” (In this case, as an accessory/necklace and not as a real pet ring lol~) The next one warns of possible skin irritation, so if it happens, please seek medical advice… and so on.
The key holder is much larger than what I expected. About 6-7 cm. And that’s Riki’s pet ring :D

And the pet ring. It actually feels quite heavy and definitely looks and feels solid.

I’m not sure if more volumes will be produced but I sure hope that the sales do well enough for them to finish all 13 episodes. Hopefully everyone who can afford the discs will buy them! The only gripe for most overseas viewers is that there is no English subtitles but think about it, most people would have watched the English-subbed videos and know how awesome the OVA’s production quality is. This series is definitely worth collecting \(;A;)/

Thank you for your answer before. ^^ I also want to send my application card, even though, it most likely won’t arrive before June 30th. But I am having trouble figuring out what I am supposed to write on the postcard because I don’t know Japanese. Can you please tell me what I am supposed to write? Also, since the address is only written in Japanese, the people in the post office in my country (USA) won’t be able to read the address in order to send it to Japan, right? Are international buyers of the anime not allowed to send in their postcards? Any help you can give me would be really appreciated. Thank you. ^^
@Sei: I used Tenso.com Japanese forwarding address for the application card. I don’t think they’ll send overseas =_=

I quickly made the following. Hope this helps! I put the card inside an air-mail envelope. I didn’t send it in its post card form. I wrote JAPAN at the end of the mailing address so that the local postman knows where the letter is supposed to go.
I have a question about the application cards for the specially written spin-off story booklet by Ai no Kusabi author, Rieko Yoshihara. I know the deadline is June 30th. But do the application cards have to arrive by June 30th, or will they be accepted as long as they are postmarked by June 30th? Thank you. ^^
@Sei: I think generally they should reach them by June 30th. I misplaced my cards but only found and posted them this morning. I really hope they can reach in time orz;; If not, hopefully the staff is flexible enough to accept cards that arrive a little later.

This package turned out amazing, full of yummy goodies! That Riki strap is just the cutest! I wonder if next editions will have a Mink chibi strap like that. Wow, the petring looks gorgeous, but boys, just for the safe use it as a necklace ornament! XDD I’d love to have AnK DVDs or Blurays but that price is impossible for now, and Customs catch for sure. Congrats for the acquisition!

@iced_wine: It’s difficult to predict but CDJapan does surprise from time to time and offer bishie items not available in other anime stores. We can only keep our fingers crossed.
