Starry☆Sky’s 13th boy, Kagurazaka Shiki’s 神楽坂 四季 mascot strap comes free with March 2011 issue of Dengeki Girl’s Style. 電撃Girl’s Style 3 月号 (published on 10 Feb 2011). I got the copy from our local book store.
The freebie strap is the same size of HiroC mascot strap and very well-made ^^ There’s also a huge copyright text “Honeybee” printed on the back of Shiki’s head lol~ but its okie. :D
I usually only buy magazines selectively if they have freebies I like or news I want to know. If you’re into otome/girl games like Starry☆Sky, Hakuouki, Brother’s Conflict, Storm Lover, HaruToki, Are you Alice?, etc, then you’ll probably enjoy Dengenki Girl’s Style :) Although they also cover 18+ otome games, images in the magazine are suitable for all ages. No pixelated bits are shown lol~
No BL game information although there is an advert for Omerta ~Chinmoku no Okite~ on the back cover.
One of the awesome news I got to know from the magazine is that, Uta no Prince sama うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪ is going to be animated! :D This was originally a PSP otome game and illustrated by Togainu no Chi/Lamento artist, Kurahana Chinatsu-sensei! (倉花 千夏) Hopefully it’ll turn out well when it is broadcast on Summer 2011.
Also, Durarara!!’s 3way standoff PSP game is also going to get a fan-disk PSP game called 3way standoff alley. Too bad I still don’t own a console yet to be able to play the original game ^^;; Available in Summer 2011 too.

@Nagara9: I think I won’t be able to download OR install the clocks unless I disable norton. It keeps deleting it for me automatically =_= It’s trying to act too smart. I think the clocks are safe for download and install.
Anyway disabled the virusscan ^^;; The voices are cute! They sound similar to some of the lines in the drama CD :3 are they official clocks? Or fan-made? :O Cos some of the voice recordings are distorted or missing :-\
I would like to get the school uniform ones, but it looked complicated. Like I would have to go through several auctions to get them all, and my go-between is great, but even he gets expensive after many transactions. I’m still wrapping my brain around the idea though. I did order the Shiki with the magazine. He should be here soon. I had to have him since I haven’t found the horoscope version of him yet. I’m sure I’ll target him on YJA soon ;D

@Nagara9: Yeah, cos usually middlemen charge by per auction + commission right? Although auctions are a great place to find rarer items, usually I end up at least paying 30%-50% extra for the final price OTL.

@GlaringDream: He should be but going from past Honeybee marketing trends, my bet is that his episodes won’t be broadcast free but will only be available as a mail in DVD special after you collect all the coupons in the previous 12 DVDs. ^^;;

Yeah….Iku cheats:P Both designs are in the same trading box. Kind of a two for one deal. Pretty nifty. So technically a sealed box has thirteen figs.
@Nagara9: ah~ icic I thought its random :D awesome to get all designs in one box. I noticed in the auctions that there are animate tokuten straps of some of the boys in their school uniforms too. Are you planning to get them?
I got the Starry Boys about a month ago off of YJA. It was a whole box, and contained the twelve main boys. I don’t know how the heck you get the Shiki. Hmmm…..Dunno.
@Nagara9: Did you get all 13 designs (2 versions of Iku + 11 other boys) in the box you ordered? That 14th design of extra Shiki is a tokuten special that comes with a movic order of the full box.
Very cute, but this time I won’t do any craziness to get him, like I did with OnoD and HiroC. But it sure looks good to get with the mag!
And the old cute Starry Sky keychains you can find a lot of them and cheap on Mandarake, but the ones that are missing maybe YJA can provide.
@planck-chan: The mag is very thin compared to the seriously thick Slyph comic :P so it wasn’t as heavy to ship.

Yeah, if I’m not wrong, the figures are randomly put inside the box.
